SF top roller and DF top roller are applied for mini-excavators, heavy excavator and bulldozer graded from 2T to 120T. Our products are using different heat treatment and production technique according to different working condition which optimizes working performance. Shell of the roller is casted by alloy steel, so the internal material fiber flow of the roller body is distributed in the most reasonable direction.
Carrier Rollers are critical components of belt conveyors that support and guide the belt. They reduce friction and ensure the belt stays centered, allowing for the smooth transport of materials. Carrier rollers account for 35% of a belt conveyor's total cost yet produce over 70% of the system's resistance, so their quality is paramount.
There are many types of carrier rollers optimized for different applications. Centering rollers, usually slotted rollers, correct belt misalignment on heavy-duty sections of belt conveyors. Parallel centering rollers perform the same function on unloaded sections of belt. Buffer rollers absorb impacts at the conveyor tail to protect the belt. Grooved rollers and parallel rollers support the belt during directional changes.
Carrier rollers are constructed from steel or plastic and contain sealed bearings, often filled with grease for lubrication. Rollers with cast iron or steelbearing housings and precision ball or roller bearings deliver the highest performance for heavy-duty applications. Plastic bearings are better suited to corrosive environments or where friction and noise must be minimized.
No matter the type or construction, all carrier rollers serve the same essential purposes:
Support the Belt - Carrier rollers support the weight and bulk of the conveyor belt and any materials being transported. Without proper support, belts experience excessive sagging, friction, and wear.
Reduce Drag - By providing a rolling surface under the belt, carrier rollers minimize the drag that would otherwise result from the belt sliding over a fixed surface. Less drag means lower power requirements and reduced energy usage.Maintain Alignment - Grooved, crowned, and slotted carrier rollers guide the belt to keep it centered for optimal material movement. If misaligned, belts can suffer damage or allow materials to spill or become stuck. Extend Service Life - High-quality carrier rollers with precision components are durable and help maximize belt life by avoiding excess wear and tear. Sealed bearings also prevent contamination and keep rollers turning freely.
Carrier rollers are a vital component for any belt conveyor system. High-performing rollers made of durable materials and premium bearings will provide years of reliable service for conveying operations. Choosing carrier rollers matched to your specific operating conditions and belt requirements will help ensure maximum uptime, lowest cost of ownership, and a long service life for your belt conveyor system.
